New 2020 SEO Trends You Should Know

Now that 2019 is almost over, let’s talk about 2020. While we may not have 2020 vision, it’s important to understand the trends, so that you can dominate the SERPs and earn a lot more in the next coming year.

But, how do you do it? Read below to find out about the top trends coming forth this next year!

First, is the new BERT and user-focused algorithm, and with this new launch, people need to learn how to optimize for this.  Having user-focused optimization and the technical delivery of the different content you need is important. You need to reassess the user points to search and align the contact with that as well. You should make sure that you have the SERPs crawling, indexing, and are served in many of the search settings. With users having more options than they have before, you need to make sure that you have clean architecture and amazing content delivery.  This is a new way to make searching a reality for most people.

The content will have to be written now with user intent rather than just a mere search than ever before.  Keyword searching tools are becoming less relevant, so you need to make sure content is geared towards the users.

Then there is high-quality, optimized content.  While this does ties into the previous part of this with user intent and deliver, you need to make sure that you have content that’s relevant, and of course valuable too.  You need to have people on hand that know how to write, and make sure they’re creating content for your site that is good for people to use. Long-tail searches which are most of the queries are still incredibly popular, and you can do this in order to affect the ROI in its own way, and this is the type of approach that google is looking for others to have, and doing this will satisfy the needs of many users, allowing for you to do things with more scalable algorithms.

Next, look at the EAT.  This is expertise, attractiveness, and of course trustworthiness, which I what you need to look at.  Any companies with poor reputations, bad customer service, and also not providing trust will hurt you.  You need to make sure that you also have the right expertise and authority on any YMYL subjects too, since ultimately, that can affect the algorithm as well.

Finally, the biggest trend you need to focus on is the UX, or user experience, which is something that will benefit you. This includes the experience from interactions on the SERPs, the landing page, and the experience after you finish with the site. Google is doing a lot to compensate for technical foundations, in the next year, you need to work on bettering your technical foundations period.  Having good technical practices will make your site better.

The page speed and the site speed are definitely two key parts of the technical side of SEO, and something which you should always be working on.  You will be amazed at the difference that this will make, and it will make things much easier.

With all of these different aspects, it’s no wonder that 2020 is the year where quality triumphs quantity. With all of that being said, you should start looking at the SEO for your pages right away, and once you do, you’ll be able o quite easily create a better user experience for just about everyone, and make what you need to have happen, happen no matter what it is that must be done.
